Eric Beißwenger

State Minister for European and International Affairs

Eric Beißwenger has been Bavarian State Minister for European Affairs and International Affairs since November 8, 2023.

In this role, he coordinates Bavaria's European policy and is based in Munich and Brussels. He cultivates Bavaria's international relations and represents Bavarian interests in key policy areas.

He has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since October 2013 and was previously Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Environment and Consumer Protection. Beißwenger is a trained banker and farmer.
